Key research interests:

a) In situ element and isotopic analysis, eg. forensic zirconology combining SHRIMP U-Pb, oxygen and hafnium isotopes, applied in granite petrogenesis, targeting fertile porphyry intrusion and mapping 4D lithospheric architecture;

b) Origin and evolution of mafic and felsic magmas/metals/fluids in porphyry Cu systems in accretionary and collisional orogeny from Archean to Cenozoic;

c) Experimental constraints on genesis of K-adakite and associated post-collisional porphyry Cu (Mo-Au) deposits in Tibetan Plateau;

d) Relationship between Au-rich felsic porphyry, K-mafic melt, and mantle metasomatism and application in regional Au province targeting.
