Our Mission

The Centre for Exploration Targeting’s (CET) mission is to increase both the rate and quality of mineral discoveries without relying on substantial increases in exploration expenditure.

The CET will achieve this:

• With a sustainable research business of team-orientated individuals effectively engaging with the minerals industry and engaging with thought leaders globally.
• By training the next generation of geoscientists in how to combine fundamental and applied research within the minerals industry and academia.
• By delivering outputs recognized and respected at high academic and industry levels.

• Risk and Value Analysis
• Geophysics and Image Analysis
• Special Projects

The CET’s Flagship Programs are:

• Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Core to Crust Fluid Systems 
• Mining Down Under (MDU) cluster on the role of organics in mineral systems
• West African Exploration Initiative and associated ARC large linkage with industry and other collaborators
• Geoscience Survey WA EIS scheme
