Geophysical Signatures of Mineral Deposits - Constrained magnetic modelling of the Wallaby gold deposit

Research in to the geophysical characteristic of mineral deposits has been a research subject in the CET for many years.  

Two volumes of case studies have been produced Geophysical Signatures of Western Australian Mineral Deposits and Geophysical Signatures of South Australian Mineral Deposits. In addition numerous deposit specific studies have been published, for example on the magnetic responses of nickel deposit near Kambalada and the geophysical characteristics of the giant Jinchuan nickel deposit in China. Supported by the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists Research Foundation and Barrick Gold are on constrained inverse modelling of the magnetic anomaly associated with the Wallaby gold deposit and studies to determine the optimal use of downhole IP surveys using the Centenary gold deposit as a test case.
