About
Mahajana completed his Bachelor of Geological Engineering at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, in 2013, followed by a Master of Geoscience at The University of Western Australia in 2024. His master’s degree focused on the multiple pulses of gold mineralization at The Burns gold-copper deposit in the EGST.
Before commencing his PhD, Mahajana gained professional experience in both the mineral exploration industry and government sector in Indonesia. His work has involved regional geological mapping, alteration mapping, and deposit characterisation including precious and base metals, tin and coal. He has also contributed to regional resource-management and groundwater-assessment programs as a Geology Investigator with the North Kalimantan Provincial Government.
