About
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from UWA and has about 30 years’ experience in the Western Australian resources sector, working in both production and exploration roles across iron ore, gold, base metals, mineral sands, diamonds and some specialty commodities.
Alex has returned to UWA to undertake a PhD on the Speewah V-Ti Deposit and associated Au+PGE mineralisation – a major mineral system in the East Kimberley Region of Western Australia where he was involved in the early development phase of the project.

Geological setting of a large-scale orthomagmatic V-Ti deposit and associated PGE+Au reef within a gabbroic sill of the Hart-Carson Large Igneous Province, North Australian Craton.
