About

Jerry Dunga is a PhD student at the Centre for Exploration Targeting, University of Western Australia. He attained an MSc degree at the same institution in 2016, embarking on a research project in Mt. Percy Gold deposit, Kalgoorlie, WA. Jerry also worked in Newcrest’s Lihir Gold Mine as a Mine/Resource/Project geologist and also as an academic at the University of Papua New Guinea before embarking on his PhD studies beginning 2022. Jerry’s current area of research lies in economic geology, specifically porphyry, epithermal, orogenic and carbonate-base metal Cu-Au deposits, including mineralised breccia systems.
