The AuScope-funded EarthBank project coordinates ten universities across Australia to enhance the analytical capability and accessibility of nationally significant Earth and environmental collections. The EarthBank program grew from the Australian Geochemical Network (AGN) and now is a truly Australia-wide initiative with university partners across Australia.
EarthBank’s objective is to create a coherent network of geochemical laboratories that contribute data to central and FAIR repositories (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable), enabling researchers to solve the global geoscience challenges of today and tomorrow.
CET Member Chris Fisher is the UWA AuScope EarthBank Fellow, with Prof. Tony Kemp serving as the UWA node leader.
