The Burns Cu-Au Project is located 50 km SE of Kalgoorlie, where Lefroy Exploration have reported drill intersections of Au and Cu mineralisation, including 17 metres at 1.7 g/t Au, from 75 metres, and 38 metres at 7.63 g/t Au and 0.56% Cu, from 175 metres. The Au and Cu mineralisation is hosted by high-Mg basalt and quartz-poor felsic to intermediate intrusions but the basic geology of the deposit remains to be described.

The Lefroy-CET Project aims to establish the basic geological framework of the Burns deposit, including intrusion petrography, mineralogy and geochemistry, the nature of hydrothermal alteration, and geochronology, and develop a genetic model for the mineralization. Commenced in July, 2022, two field periods saw the complete logging of six diamond drill holes. Samples have been dispatched for geochronology, whole-rock analysis, and polished thin section preparation. The Project is due for completion in July, 2023.
