The Tectonics & Resource Potential of NE South America
Following on from the successful 11th IGGC in Paramaribo, Suriname in 2019, this conference will present the latest findings on the tectonics, minerals and energy resources, and regolith of the Guiana Shield and the wider NE South American Region.
The outcomes of this meeting will underpin discussions about future collaborative research programs in the region.
Research Themes
- Archean and Proterozoic tectonics and resource potential.
- Proterozoic to Tertiary basin evolution and resource potential.
- Regolith and landform evolution.
Abstracts
Abstracts may be on any geoscience topic related to the Guiana Shield and neighbouring terranes should be between 1-4 pages and may contain images and figures.
