The Centre for Exploration Targeting (CET) is part of the University of Western Australia (UWA) School of Earth and Oceans. The CET is a sustainable research centre connecting the minerals industry with global thought leaders. We collaborate with industry partners to deliver respected research with practical and intellectual value.
CET works to bridge the gap between academic research output and the needs of the mineral exploration industry. We undertake pure and applied research and deliver innovative outcomes to advance understanding of mineral systems and exploration targeting, including the development of practical integrated targeting tools and techniques to improve the risk-to-reward ratio in mineral exploration.
Our goal is to embed Research and Development as a core part of exploration and extraction. Through our Membership program, industry practitioners can engage with our team, access exclusive research, attend training courses, and participate in the annual CET Members Day symposium. CET researchers also contribute to leading industry forums and journals.
The CET would like to thank its Members for their ongoing support.
