She earned her bachelor’s degree in Geophysics and Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, where she began her research into potential field inversions as an undergraduate researcher with Yaoguo Li. Upon returning to Australia, she completed a Master of Geoscience by research at the University of Western Australia (UWA).

PhD Project

Lizzie is currently pursuing a PhD at UWA, continuing her work on potential field inversions under the supervision of Mark Jessell, Vitaliy Ogarko, and Jérémie Giraud. Alongside her research, she has contributed to teaching courses such as introductory geology, structural geology, and introductory physics. Outside of academia, she enjoys playing cricket and spending time with her dog.
