Laura Petrella is a Research Associate at the Centre for Exploration Targeting, School of Earth Sciences at The University of Western Australia.
Laura received her MSc from McGill University in Canada in 2013 and her PhD from the University of Western Australia in 2020.
Laura scientific interests revolve around ore forming processes. Laura’s current research focuses on investigating gold transport and deposition mechanisms associated to high-grade gold accumulation in orogenic gold deposits.
Laura’s research aims to produce new understanding of high-grade gold systems that can be applicable to mineral exploration.
